🔸What is an Adult Family Home (AFH)?
An Adult Family Home is a licensed residential care facility in a private home setting providing personal care, nursing services, and housing. Green Hill View is licensed by Washington State and offers individualized care in a warm, family-oriented environment — very different from large assisted living facilities.
🔸Is a nurse available around the clock?
Absolutely. Our owner Ambaye Gebru, RN, lives in the home and is personally available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is one of the most significant advantages we offer over larger facilities where nursing staff rotate and go home.
🔸What types of residents do you accept?
We care for seniors with a wide range of needs including dementia/Alzheimer’s, hospice, mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, ventilator dependence, and those needing general daily living assistance. We welcome a conversation about your loved one’s specific situation.
🔸How do I schedule a visit?
Simply call (206) 229-7706, email amb18geb@gmail.com, or use our online tour request form. We’ll arrange a convenient time to show you around and answer every question you have. There is no pressure — we simply want you to feel informed and confident.

We work with families on payment options including private pay and various assistance programs. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific financial situation — we will do our best to help you understand available resources.
